Hi Stephen Generally if it’s the window you’re describing asking to use the “usual AppleID” then the password it actually wants is your computer password. (As it most likely has your AppleID password saved into a special encrypted token), so it’s then asking you to enter your computer password

My only suggestion is: If you’re logging with Safari, go to Safari > Settings > Passwords and find the entry for your iCloud login. You can’t edit it, so delete it using the — symbol at the botton of the passwords list. Close the window and try logging in again. This time Keychain
