My wife is into restoring old pictures and wants to buy a reasonable
scanner for the purpose.
She has mostly black and white pics. She wants good quality scans to
edit in photoshop.
Can anyone recommend a scanner, willing to pay for quality, say
around $500 or so. (more if required)
I have a 7600/200 & Mac OS 9.1 with 256megs ram, 2G HDD.
I would like to get a scanner but am unsure what to look for when shopping
for such a device.
I think I may be better off getting a FW/USB card for my machine so I may
be able to use a current model with a decent dpi scan.
