Seems I read somewhere the house seen in the Hollander episode was really
Andy’s house. I bet the pool episode was shot there too. Makes sense for back
to back episodes.

Thank you for answers about the filing cabinet. I forgot about the fish scene.
I don’t remember the cleaning out of the drawers in the punch in the nose
episode. Will have to remember to look for it.
I wish everyone a Mayberry kind of day. Just behave and don’t be pulling that
file drawer al
Has anyone else seen Andy or Barney use any of the other filing cabinet drawers
besides the top one? Just curious.

I wonder if the Mendlebright sisters were related to Mrs Mendlebright that ran
the boarding home. I think I saw a sign at the horse trough that had the
Mendlebright name too.
Anyone know?

Do you think Briscoe came up with these beliefs while watching the cook when he
was sitting in the kitchen?

We sure don't want to forget Old Sam. Can't remember what kind he was but he
was important enough to be on display.

I agree with you Teresa about the bad language in the commercials for these
kinds of disgusting shows. Seems the commercials are the loudest. Think this
is a hint for tv land to want us to quit watching tags? I just hit the mute
button when they come on.

Hope all are staying safe and warm. I think the answers to the trivia about
Barney's relatives are his mother and of course Andy was his cousin.

Thank you Dewey for the link to the football story. I forwarded it to my son
who thinks this is so funny. I have it on a cd with some more of Andy's

Thank you so much Dolly for the link to Andy's first appearance. It was Opies
first too. Even Aunt Bee had a second role.

used a different cup. Maybe Barney comes by so often they decided to give him
his own cup. It was nice the cup had a B that stood for the name Barney.

There really are a bunch of TAGS fans around. Last night while watching singing
on WLJC tv the singers referred to the next song being sung in acapulco like
Barney did on the Andy Griffith Show. Just warmed my heart good.

I am just curious about something. Does anyone know why there are six
points on Andy's actual badge and then only five points on the emblem on
his shirt sleeve? Why would they not be the same? I am sure that some
official lawman will have a logical answer.
I had just never noticed this before and wanted to ask all the trained
noticers out there.. On the episode of Opie's report card (where he
mistakenly received all A's) at Andy's house one morning before going to
work and taking Opie to school, Barney was drinking coffee out of a great

I watched The Gift episode on The Waltons yesterday and Ron Howard played
the character Seth Turner and was diagnosed with leukemia. This kind of
touched home since my son had leukemia as a small child (he's fine now). I
have really enjoyed the Waltons on INSP (like TAGS better). Apparently,
