ch of a concern as
I don't have anything I will be using with it.
I also tried enabling map caching support with the following command:
./configure --enable-map-caching=YES
Any ideas?

Check out Macports, that is the easiest way to install it. You won't get the
latest version, but you'll have all the dependencies satisfied if you want
to compile the newest version, I just did that yesterday and it worked great
:)

I
still (and will continue) to run Linux on my desktops and servers, but I've
always wanted a Macbook and finally broke down and bought one. I know there
is this love/hate relationship with it, but hey it's still not
Micro$oft!!

Is there a guide to compiling/installing on OSX? I just bought a Macbook
(should have it Monday) and I want to get Xastir running on it. I looked on
the Wiki but didn't see anything there.
Thanks,
Stephen

Evaluate the existing feature set in Xastir now and decide if anything can
be removed or improved upon.
If I had coding skills I would gladly contribute them, but I can at least
test :D
Just throwing my thoughts out.

There are KML generators that exist today, I've seen a few but can't recall
what or how they work
Again guys I'm not a developer, more of a tinkerer, so what I'm thinking of
may or may not be possible.
Just some random thoughts..

What file or files do I edit to start customizing colors, line widths, etc?
