You need to start your font server (xfs).
In my opinion, the configuration program that came with your
distribution is broken for configuring the server to require one,
yet not ensuring that one was running.

You could try replacing Load "freetype" with Load "xtt" in
the XF86Config file.

Not very sure, but obviously the bit map shared libraries in the
/X11R6/lib.. is missing, If I am not very wrong it will be a static
binary. So you can copy it from a working machine with x86 arch,

You have an incomplete XFree86 installation. It is missing
modules. Specifically it is missing at least
/usr/X11R6/lib/modules/fonts/libbitmap.a

This appears to be a RedHat problem. You might try searching for
libbitmap.a and libpcidata.a on your system. They are supposed
to be at /usr/X11R6/lib/modules/fonts/libbitmap.a and
/usr/X11R6/lib/modules/libpcidata.a and if the server was previously
working, then they were at one point. From

As far as I can tell, this seems to be a RedHat bug. It
appears that something on the system deletes crucial XFree86
modules for some unknown reason. I assume your
/usr/X11R6/lib/modules/libpcidata.a
and
/usr/X11R6/lib/modules/fonts/libbitmap.a
have gone missing? I don't think
