More Adult.: - ADULT. Misinterpreted 12" (EZ-016) A special remix 12" that comes with a concept based on a popular children's game that has many different names depending on your region. "The Telephone Game", "Telephone Operator", "Chinese Whispers", it doesn't matter what name you had for the game as a kid, the concept is the same. A group of children sit in a circle. A child whispers a sentence to the individual sitting next them, and this sentence is repeatedly whispered around the circle until the last child hears the sentence. At which time, the last and first children say there sentence out loud, and inevitably, the sentence has changed dramatically from the original. Ersatz Audio has adapted this idea to their next release. Featuring a new and exclusive track from: ADULT. entitled "Don't You Stop". Remix artists will include: Solvent (Suction Records). theo parrish's 'summertime is here' is based around a sample from sun ra's 'that's how i feel' from the arkestra's lanquidity album! therefore i claim the inaugural trainspotter of the month trophy! i also just noticed that one of the tracks from the transmat relics compilation is sampled in dirty house crew's 'disco at the edge of the universe', but that's a bit less interesting p - To unsubscribe, e-mail: [EMAIL PROTECTED] For additional commands, e-mail: [EMAIL PROTECTED]

[313] Tenaglia about WTC
I thought I would stop in to say a few brief words on my thoughts on this tragedy we are all suffering through at this time. I guess many of us, at one time or another, thought in our minds: "what if"? What if there was a war here and bombs hit NYC? Or, what if we had a massive earthquake and thousands of people perished and so many lives and families would be absolutely shattered? I think that's why we are all in shock! You think "what if" but then say nah, it could never happen here, but as unbelieveable as it is, it now has happened! I was only 9 years old when the Twin Towers went up into the sky and I was always amazed by them. I use to cut High School with friends just to go there and go up to the observation deck. I cannot believe that these mighty towers have been brought down! Not from a natural disaster, but from an "act of war," an act of hate, envy, jealousy and all other evil reasons. I never, in my lifetime, thought my eyes would witness such a catastrophe. But then again, I look back almost 20 years, and remember losing a close friend to my family named Michael Prevete who became stricken with AIDS. It was so new that they didn't even know what to call it back then. They did not know how to treat him, and he died in two months from various complications. His coffin was closed and he was buried in a body bag becuase back then they feared it was a plague, unsurable of how it could be spread to others. The reason why I bring this up is, becuase at that time I was only 20 years old, and within 5 years time I had started to lose friends, many who were DJ's and record industry people and aquaintances to this disease. Then we started to hear about Hollywood celebrities like Rock Hudson, Liberace, Andy Warhol, Keith Haring, Willi Smith, Halston, A guitar player in the B-52's, Freddie Mercury, etc.. And this list of cases infected with HIV is now in the range of "34 MILLION" with aproximately 75% of the majority of the people infected living in South Africa, according to a recent Time Magazine article that brought me to tears. I mention this becuase I am now 40 years old, and I look back and think of how many friends and peers we have lost, but the fact that it has been over a 20 year span doesn't seem to make the impact like this act of war just did in our fantastic Country. The point I am trying to make here over all is: No one knows what the future holds except for God himself. I believe this has all been written and predicted. I also pray that the worst of tragedies for all of us to have witnessed in our lifetime has now passed us. This is truly unfair to human life to have to suffer and endure such pain of losing loved ones in such horrific ways. I pray to God that they find these Demons that masterminded these horrible crimes, as I also shall continue to pray for the souls of the victims and their families left behind. Not only from this tragedy, but from all tragedies. Let us not forget the recent earthquakes in Turkey, India, Japan and all the victims there. Let us not forget the Oklahoma bombing. Let us not forget those suffering from Cancer, Diabetes, AIDS, Blindness, Homelesness, Starvation, Poverty, Depression, and so many other awful sicknesses and dreadful diseases. But let us "give thanks" for what we do have, and let's hold on to it tightly and cherish it with all our hearts. I personally plan on spending a lot more time with my family after this incident. So Mom, heat up your famous Italian sauce, and Pop, please pass the spicy meatballs! :) I had to enlighten this a bit after all the mush.Let's join the others in harmony tomorrow evening, Friday at 7pm somewhere outside your home, or wherever you may be and light a candle for all the lives that have been lost. Not only from this tragedy, but from all tragedies ever witnessed here on earth. I pray that no one I know has lost any loved ones. So far I have been lucky enough to say that I have not heard of any one I know, except for the possibility of a Fireman that my older brothers were very close to. His name is Joe Spinelli, and we just found out today that he is one of the missing just a few hours ago. I haven't seen him since I was a teenager, but I remember him as if he were a relative since we all went to Catholic School together in Brooklyn. One last note, I am scheduled to leave Tuesday evening on a British Airways flight to Manchester to play 2 gigs in the UK before I head to Ibiza to play at the closing party of "We love Sundays @ Space". I am still planning on going becuase it has been arranged for quite some time, and I know that many people are going from NY, and many people are expecting my arrival. However, I will be honest and say that (#1), I do have a certain amount of concern to travel overseas at this time, and (#2) I also am feeling weird at the thought of playing music to a bunch of smiling faces while knowing in my mind that as the same time that I am playing music and people are dancing, so many thousands of
