(313) Detroit gets a good Probing by MTV
Anyone catch a program last night on MTVuk last night called Detroit Probe! Had an interview with Derrick May and took you round the Detroit Techno Exhibition at the museum. Was very good apart from the tw@ doing the show cleary had no interest in techno at all and was only interested the rock side of Detroit and Enima-m Pity. It will probably be on again so if you missed it try and catch it. Its an hour long but all the stuff about techno is in the second half. Max

RE: (313) That Friday Question
typo, that's Innerzone (Orchestra)... I know 'Bug' gets namechecked by a lot of dnb heads as a kind of important pre-cursor to the genre, but has it ever been sampled/used in any modern dnb tracks? There were some decent remixes on mo'wax when it got reissued again in like '95 or '96... (4 hero, peshay, future/past I think) but anything other than that? peace, Matt MacQueen -Original Message- From: Matthew MacQueen Sent: Sunday, April 27, 2003 9:58 AM To: [EMAIL PROTECTED]; 313@hyperreal.org Subject: RE: (313) That Friday Question (tho to get a dnb head on side shake's 'madmen' works well) good point! or Innzerone's Bug in the Bassbin for that matter... cheers, Matt MacQueen
