We do all covet your mixer though Pete;-) Call me a weirdo, but I like the gains back there. Yes, it's weird at first, but with the fine amount of adjustment needed on gains, and the limited use they get in the mix (I mostly tune the gains in cue), it frees up needed space on the main console to get your grubby fingers between the EQs. If I have any criticism of the Xones, it's that there still isn't enough space between the EQ knobs to really get in there, but I'll make that sacrifice for the nice long volume faders. I think those faders are one of the best things about it. So smooth, clear and acurate. I've used the Pioneer probably as much if not more than I've used my AH, especially @ gigs, but I much prefer the AH 32 after living with it for 6 months. As everyone else has said, its sound, feel and tank-ness far outweigh any additional features other mixers provide. When shopping in March, I also considered the Red Sound Infader (with 3 band cross faders that are super fun), but apparently their durability is really questionable. I also had my eye on the Tascam X-9 for ages, because the features are wicked and it feels plenty solid, but ultimately I don't need all that crap. Get the Xone. It will treat you well. OKIve got a unwanted gift CD from HMV, its worth ?16.99. I went last night on my way home and try to get a refund on it only to be told that I cant have one (ill miss out the rest of the conversation, but I wasn't happy) All I can do is do a swap for another CD. So somewhat irate I looked around but couldn't find anything in the 10 mins I had before they shut. Planning on going again later...any recommendations for me that I can pick from the somewhat non specailist HMV Ps no looped bangers please :) On heavy rotation atm are the Emoticon Sampler, The Irma Soul in Motion comp and anything on Archive. So Deep Techno. Thanks In Advance. Rav -- This message is intended only for the personal and confidential use of the designated recipient(s) named above. Re: (313) Black Holes Love Bass
PS. RAW, I don't recall black holes being anything to do with 'black material', fwiw you could be referring to 'dark matter', but that's a different phenomena to this, albeit related. yes you right .. I mean dark matter both dark matter and black holes have the same weird gravitational pull anyway I don't believe in the black holes theory i think it's just a halo created by the light of a different solarsystem and a planet/star at the far end of our solar system but i cannot back that up it's just a mystery how planets etc stay in their orbit I don't believe it's only gravitational but also based on a natural 'curve' anyway i'm really off topic now but it's very fascinating RAW
(313) Support World Wide Techno
Morning 313er's, After some long nights of coding and designing, we now have the new forum up and running. As you will probably know, Overload is closing down in a couple of weeks and it's vital that we keep this resource running - its been vital for the UK and Europe, plus we are hoping some of you in the US of A and other far away lands will take us under your wing and offer us support. Please visit: http://www.littledetroit.net/forums/ And post up news/views and gigs, we'll be adding more sections this week - including Downloads, Links, Internet Radio and Live Chat. It's going to take some time to get the site to the standard Overload reached but we are hoping that with your help it wont take to long. Many thanks Martin

(313) Fwd: [DE:BUG review] Iridite Productions - Electron Music (Iridite Productions/004)
Hey there list- any people with a flair for the Germanic out there who can do a decent translation on this for me?
