Nope, that's the first I've heard of it. Anyone else?

The 12 is nice - reminds me of some of the old Psyche/BFC or A.R.T.
type techno/idm. More abstract than usual.

Re: (313) Laurent Garnier

2005-03-20 Thread Cyclone Wehner
Owes a lil' something to Carl's More Songs... I think. It's Garnier's
equivalent to that LP. I loved that song Huis Clos from the first - stand
out for me.
Laurent named the LP for a factory near his crib in Paris - he has some
little Roald Dahl story he shares with visiting kids who ask about the puffs
of smoke...

Yep, I agree with you, enjoying it thoroughly. Haven't spent enough time
with it to comment on individual tunes yet, or really soaking in all the
sounds, but definitely like what I am hearing so far. Seems like a good
headphone album, perhaps aside from the rock song waiting for my
plane. Suppose that should be played loudly somewhere.

Curious to know if this cloud making machine made the little cloud that
 soul designer walks on?

 Cheers,

 Adam

Anyone have any more thoughts on The Cloud Making Machine?

I enjoyed it. My favourite track is Huis Clos - very Morricone.

 Evocative, filmic interesting album.
