(313) mp3 recorder
never dived into it, but i can imagine there are small gadgets around, i can't find my minidisc player (recorder), which i sometimes use to record liveset or dj set but i think some of the same are around, but which record as mp3? so i don't need to record the minidisc first as audio, then save as mp3 anyone? tips!!? :-)
Re: (313) mp3 recorder
Hi Marcel, I dont have mine any more due to some over zealous tidying whilst drunk but an iRiver can record as a .wav or as a .mp3 and I think you can even select from a variety of compression settings. Re: (313) mp3 recorder
Yep - I've got an iriver - it's got a line in and you can direct encode to mp3, ogg, wma, wav - at any bitrate you wish. RE: (313) mp3 recorder
I have the Iriver 340 its coming up to 3 years old now, it has a line/mic in for mp3 recording and I think you can record in a range of bit rates up to 320kbps or as wav. Seem to be really stable and hasn't ever crashed on me. At the time it outperfomed many products on the market as it had radio, video playback and photo storage and didn't require any additional software like Itunes etc to connect to your pc. Have a look at http://www.misticriver.net if you need to know more. Cheers. Re: (313) mp3 recorder
The iAudio mp3 players are also very highly regarded. There is a small dongle required for line-in recording, but for most people it's not an issue to carry that around. A friend just got the X5 and it looks well nice. He's a heavy user and very happy with it. These have definitely got iRivers beat cosmetically but in almost every other way they compete as well: http://eng.iaudio.com/ Tristan === [EMAIL PROTECTED] http://www.phonopsia.co.uk - Original Message - From: Mann, Ravinder [EMAIL PROTECTED] To: [EMAIL PROTECTED]; 313 313@hyperreal.org Sent: Wednesday, May 10, 2006 11:32 AM Subject: RE: (313) mp3 recorder I have the Iriver 340 its coming up to 3 years old now, it has a line/mic in for mp3 recording and I think you can record in a range of bit rates up to 320kbps or as wav. Re: (313) mp3 recorder
If you want a balanced input via XLR, you can look at products from Mrantz and M-Audio. Both of them have really nice, solid-state flash- memory recorders. However, you're looking at $500+ for that badness. LMGM On May 10, 2006, at 6:21 AM, Nik Stoltzman wrote: Ditto: iRiver. Perfect for recording with.
