RE: (313) new KDJ (Another One!)

2007-03-06 Thread Odeluga, Ken
Ah well Maxim, I wonder what you will do when you discover that there are in
fact *two* new KDJs bubbling under.

The other one's cat number KDJ 32 and seems to be the fabled Prince-influenced
'Freeky M.F.' (a number he performed at DEMF one time I believe.)

Now, I don't know if you can see the cataloguing details being prepared in
discogs, if you're not logged in, because this is not an 'active' release (in
discogs parlance) yet.

Still here they are:

http://www.discogs.com/release/887324

I've not heard it so, have no opinion. Still it's creating a little buzz, just
like the other one.

Yes!

I was about to moan about this not being generally available.

http://quincyessentialmusic.libsyn.com/index.php?post_id=114764

its okay, not what everyone has hyped it up to be. i prefer 035,
really. but also that discogs submission was done by kai alce whom id
assume has had it since it came out. i havent heard anything about it
becoming available soon...

Apart from what Ken says I haven't heard anything recently either.

I live in hope tho.

It's a nice track loud, it was the best thing they played when he was
live in Manchester a while back.

yeah it seems like a good track for a live interpretation for sure.
very prince/marvin esque in many ways.

heard mp3s of KDJ 01 last night for the first time, kenny used to
sound remarkably how rick wade sounds! weird, cant imagine why people
pay so much for that record, its clearly inferior to the things from
#3 on. though i guess i have only heard the version of emotional
content that was released on peacefrog, but that was better than 01
and i think some version of it was on 02.

Produced By: Mad Mike

Track A1: Hi-Tech Dreams

Track B2: Lo-Tech Reality

The name says it all right?

Perhaps...

Is this another social statement put to sound from UR?
Or something more sinister? We'll leave that to your imagination.

What we won't leave out is sound! Frequencies at the edge of whatever!
Indescribable fearless sonic probes of the enemy from veteran
electronic warfares insurgents: Mad Mike on the tones and Mark Agent
Chaos Floyd on the coded voice channel.

This long awaited 3 track EP is Hi-Tech sonic ammunition for advanced

What type of music is this?
Do you understand any of this?
