RE: (313) sorta OT - question about as one / kirk degiorgio

Sounds like you might be refering to the 'So Far So Good' comp which was
on Ubiquity, if not then its worth picking up.

I used to have an As One 12 that I loved, but it was either stolen or
I lost it to an ex, can't remember which. Anyway, I just found an old
MP3 cd with a bunch of As One stuff on there, and I'm going to check
it out, but it doesn't seem to be an album, rather a collection of
random tracks. So I wanted to get some opinions... Where's the best
place to start with As One or Kirk DeGiorgio in general? Also, any
hidden / rare gems?

2007-12-13 Thread Michael . Elliot-Knight
Yeah, Reflections is a great album. 21st Century Soul, In With Their
Arps, And Moogs, And Jazz And Things, Kirk Degiorgio's Offworld, and
Elegant Systems...

also his various works on the New Religion comp - The Electric Institute

this one on B12 http://www.discogs.com/release/4541
this one on New Religion http://www.discogs.com/release/506717
any of this records on his A.R.T. label
http://www.discogs.com/label/Applied+Rhythmic+Technology+(ART)

since when would Kirk Degiorgio be OT? I think he's quite OT for this
email list.

(313) Wild Kingdom Warning

2007-12-13 Thread Richard Hester
The playlist for last week's Wild Kingdom is at
http://www.kfjc.org/music/playlist.php?i=29174.
The coming show will feature a fistful of Carl Craig, some Claude Young,
Alter Ego, Infinite Wheel, Connection Machine, Luke Slater, Wolfgang
Voigt, some classic Acid tunes, and a whole lot more I ain't mentioning
here. The Wild Kingdom airs on KFJC-FM 89.7, Saturday night/Sunday
Morning, 12A-3A (7A-10A GMT). The webcast is at www.kfjc.org (follow the
links). Present and past Wild Kingdom playlists are also archived there.
You can also check out archived playlists from my first KFJC show Just
Desserts that aired on Fridays 10P-2A from 1992 through 1999. Playlists
exist for that show starting from Fall 1995 to New Year's Eve 1999/2000.

If you do tune in (especially via the web), please take a little time to
let me know your locale. I'm also interested in promos from all over and
in promoting local (San Francisco Bay area) techno-type events. Thanks
to those who have sent promos so far.
