I just hope they rebook him - I wasn't the only one who couldn't have attended
because of the clash with the Chair, so hopefully if
they do it'll get more numbers.
Looking forward to Jamal Moss!

Went to see Juan on Saturday in Manchester. Guess what - another no
 show.

I don't know why, as I saw this coming, but I was disappointed.

Luckily Trusme and Linkwood did a fine job of entertaining us but they
must've taken a hit financially and reputation-wise (it was known from
Friday night he wasn't around) and this is a bit rough on these kids
as they are just starting out with this new night.

Yeah I heard he didn't appear at the last Spacebase either. I was going to
go but blew it out at the last min ( then was glad that I did.)

The good news on that front is that Derrick May is scheduled to play the
next one, 22nd Feb.

Kind regards,
Gary

Unless I had to burn some money I wouldn't book Juan in a million years.

man, its been a while for both of those guys. that said, i wasnt
really feeling the last john arnold nor the ayro full length. and what
happened to Omoa? the last Szymanski thing (i think that was on omoa,
its not on discogs, i got it in detroit in 05 or 06? ) was pretty nice
as was the lover's quarrel. their site shows the szymanski album
coming summer 06, i guess that never materialized! either which way,
i'm looking forward to checking this out.

Sad to say, never been to Berlin, or either incarnation of the Tresor -
it's nice to see that they tried to retain some of the grimy industrial
ambiance of the power station for the new locale. I'd love to hear some
nice, gritty techno there.
