I'll have to do more as time goes by. I'm still working on my 'DJ'ing'
with Ableton Live. In the meantime...

back when I took the 'record label' thing seriously I put together a
mix of tracks made by me and the other people who had tracks on Corn
Warning.

it's also getting harder to make that argument now that some of tom's
heroes (theo, rick w, etc.) have gone digital to a large degree.

once again, it doesn't matter what you use. it's how you use it.

(OT side note - i was pretty shocked to see both grandmaster flash and
afrikaa baambaataa using serato recently.)

I think it was allowed because there are a couple of almost vinylistic
 mistakes ;-)

 I love vinyl but

 1) I'm old and have a herniated disc in my back and I'm not crazy
 about lugging a record box.
 2) I have too much going on in my life to practice with turntables
enough to get beyond the mechanics of mixing.
 3) I have to drive to Chicago to buy dance vinyl if I want it, so I
 buy digital downloads instead.
 4) I like my effects, and I don't want to pay $1500 for a DJ mixer
with them when I already have a computer and fancy
 sound card.

Everyone's been posting such great mixes, I thought I'd contribute a
new one:

More pre-planned than usual, due to some equipment being packed.

Cheers,
