(313) Network

2008-10-10 Thread Paul Kendrick

I see that Network are still re-releasing stuff and have just put out
the Ashley Beedle mix of string of life, Im not sure that this needed to
come out again but it does have the Carl Craig mix of Ahnonghay on the
other side which is wicked but if memory serves right the Dave Clarke
mix was really good too.

(313) New Stuff

2008-10-10 Thread Martin Dust

Petar Dundov - Escapements
This is a wonderful album, well worth checking out, it's hard to pull
off 8+ minute songs but Petar has no problems.

Extrawelt - Schone Neue
Another great album, dark beats, strange noise and phatty bass.

Metro Area - Fabric Mix
First off I should say that I don't like disco but this has a talky
intro that sounds uncannily like the Blackout Crew on Donk and not
even Devo could save it for me.

Could you send me your Fabric CD then?
Cheers

Excellent work! I've been listening this for a couple of
days and been spreading the link to friends who are into UR. Just
what the doctor ordered. Thank you. :)

Thanks Jussi, I wish we'd been given more time to play more of tracks/
edits but we only had an hour and there's a couple of mistakes in
there I'm not happy with but what can you do, we tried to get the best
mix of old and new tracks in there to do UR justice, you can only do
your best and hope it works :)

No thanks, I don't want your shoes mate, it's just um, well, I though I
might know him that's all.
I know a guy that's got that CD see, but he won't lend it to me. Could be
the same guy you gave it to.

2008-10-10 Thread Tristan Watkins
I got the 5CD box set the other day. Not bad for £9. Has an old Ron Trent
and Chez Damier remix on it I'd not heard and another wicked Joey Negro
remix, in addition to all sorts of Detroit techno classics and
Altern-8/Nexus 21 goodies. Can't go wrong really.

I first heard two mixes of House of God from a Jack Dangers CD Hello

Still got it around here somewhere...

Yep, it had some good UK stuff on there. I remeber Aphex Twin and Orbital on
there quite a bit. What really blew me away was when I caught DHS's House of
God.

You mean this one?

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=UVRPEDOVJzk

There's a version out there with the Bill Clinton samples It's
nobody's business but ours. My child, my wife, and our God. god god
god that I always enjoyed. I heard it on an Adam X mix I really liked
On the One and Two that had a lot of fun tracks.
