(313) Wild Kingdom CD Adventures
Last week's Wild Kingdom set included some electronic tracks from the 70's and 80's that inspired me back in the day (most heard on KFJC before I joined up), and an English acid house track that I liked before I even knew what acid house was. That was back in '88 - I didn't find out about such things for another 5-6 years. Anyway, the playlist is at http://www.kfjc.org/music/playlist.php?i=35730 . Tonight's set came together around a couple of CDs recently received and will include selections from Profan, Modern Love, Kompakt, Planet E, Pure Plastic, Burial Mix, Space Teddy, and Apollo. I'm teaching a trainee how to work things in the studio, so things are going to be a bit harum-scarum for the next few weeks.
