Re: Records for Sale

2020-05-28 Thread Joe Marougi
Thx for the reply.

Actually I found a guy here locally who’s buying many of my records so I
want to give him first dibs (which is also why I’m cc’ing the group in case
there was anyone else interested).

Once he’s done I’ll update my list on discogs.

Thanks 

Joe

Hey Joe,

I ain't buyin'

But I feel your comments about some system for trade.

Most of us reach that point where we know the records but as you say
'weighs a ton'.

How many Jit for a sealed Sole Tech? Ten 313 worth somethin'

Hi,

Put up some records on Discogs...mainly 90's Detroit techno and Warp
type stuff.

I have a ton more to add so feel free to ask me if you're looking for
anything specific from that period.

Thx,
Joe

DEMF 20th anniversary party yesterday

2020-05-28 Thread Andrew Duke
Some awesome music at yesterday's 20th anniversary DEMF party; Norm Talley
did a tribute set to Mike Huckaby and The AM played electro from Drexciya
and related. K-Hand, Hotwaxx Hale, Terrence Parker, and DJ Godfather were
other Detroiters with stellar sets (the running order matches the posters
except Brian played last after TP). Most performed at Urban Bean (once
housed Blake Baxter's record store). Highlights for me were Keith Tucker
performing live as Optic Nerve from his home studio and Lou & Ken from Scan
7 making their machines sing right there on the streetfront. At this point,
the shorter vid at link below has the first few hours and the main video
has the rest. Don't let the gaps between sets throw you off. Keith starts
at 6hr20min into the long video and Scan 7 right after him:
