Try and track down Trankilou - Champagne if you can. One of my all-time favourite house tunes and probably the best track the "French house movement" produced IMO. Erik

Is this sort of stuff not considered 313? I get the impression it's looked down upon by a lot of people. Although Adam Beyer is far from consistently good, some of his earlier stuff are techno classics in my book. Especially the Decoded LP from 6-7 years back. Erik

Nice to see the record shop just across the road from my front door getting a mention! Hedonizm that is. Didn't know they had a world-wide presence... :) Erik
(313) Track ID please
I know this is not the electropop list but I was thinking that maybe someone on this list knows what this catchy little number might be: http://homepage.ntlworld.com/erik.jalevik/sample.mp3 It's from a Miss Kittin mix. Cheers!

(313) Future Sound compilation on Rephlex
I've got a CD compilation called The Best of Future Sound Records which came out on Rephlex in 94 on which the tracklisting seems to be wrong. There are 9 tracks on the disc but only 8 are listed on the cover. Track 4 is a really nice old-school Detroit type track and I'm trying to find out what it really is. The cover says Terry Baldwin "Delta House" but that's clearly wrong as that's the track after. Anyone have this who knows? Thanks.
Re: (313) re: best decks
This has happened on mine. Does anyone know if this is easy to fix? Or maybe point me to somewhere where it tells me how to do it? - Original Message - From: "Langsman, Marc" <[EMAIL PROTECTED]> To: "'Neil Wallace'" <[EMAIL PROTECTED]>; <[EMAIL PROTECTED]>; "'James Bucknell'" <[EMAIL PROTECTED]>; <313@hyperreal.org> Sent: Wednesday, November 20, 2002 2:20 PM Subject: RE: (313) re: best decks > > yeah the zero on the fader and zero of the pitch lock can be misaligned >
(313) Red Planet compilation
Sorry if this is a FAQ (I'm new), but is the Red Planet CD compilation that came out in 99 readily available? Thanks.

It's got everything, that noise, melody, energy and that little vocoder voice... Erik
Re: (313) 100 BEST DJ IN THE WORLD....
Hi everyone Just joined the list, seems like a good source of info... > so in that respect, is trance the biggest its been? This seems weird as I really thought trance had had its day. I mean it was massive in 1999-2000 at least in the UK but now, it doesn't seem that big at all. And whoever mentioned Vitalic, his EP is excellent techno IMO. Not to be lumped in with the likes of Fischerspooner under the electroclash tag... Erik
