EMP Records: Zorak's Jamboree
Hey there 313 list, I was thinking about making the trip down to Detroit from Guelph, Ontario (near Toronto) and have heard rumours that Saunderson and Atkins are not playing live if at all. It is my understanding that there has been some discussion of these rumours on the list (which I just joined) so I'd be greatful if someone would fill me in on what's been said. Thanks Peace J

Thanks for filling me in guys. I had doubts from the beginning but gave EMP and Zorak's Jamboree some consideration because Kevin and Juan were billed as live. Perhaps we'll make the trip out to Montreal for Mutek instead and save our journey into Detroit for a more suitable soiree. lil' robbie - good to hear from you! thanks for coming out to Focus, I'm glad you enjoyed yourself. ditto on the security, they were hotheads especially during our first few weeks (they didn't quite understand that our patrons were not like the usual drunken clientele). as for future Halcyon events - we're working on something special, perhaps an intimate free outdoor gathering spanning the usual techno-techhouse-house sounds. i'll keep you informed Peace...
