(313) Re: Stockholm ...
Hi Three good ones in Stockholm this weekend: Aril Brikha is playing live at Guidelines @ Mondo (tube Medborgarplatsen) on Saturday. Open from 11 pm to 3 am. Maurice Fulton is playing at my club Raw Fusion @ Mosebacke (tube Slussen) on Saturday. Open from 9 to 2 am. If you want some electronic sounds on Friday, go to the small bar Metro (tube Skanstull). Open until 2 am. Best record shops at the moment are: Snickars Records @ Replsagargatan - 2nd hand techno, house and disco. Also nice selection of hip hop, soul and odd sounds. Recordmania @ Östgötagatan - one of the best 2nd hand shops in Europe. No techno, only soul, disco, jazz, reggae, hip hop and a small selection of new sounds. Fade @ Skånegatan - new house, d'n'b, techno and more. Good luck Jesper -- Date: Wed, 3 Sep 2003 16:39:37 +0300 To: 313@hyperreal.org From: deep-z [EMAIL PROTECTED] Subject: Stockholm ... Message-ID: [EMAIL PROTECTED] Hello, all! Maybe here's someone who can help with following information: Some friends of mine just planning to go to Stockholm and just want to know if there will be some techno events this weekend (in Stockholm or somewhere in the neighbour). Also what's the situation with recordshops (techno) there? peace, deep-z === http://808.lv/radio.pls [techno | drum'n'bass | latvian electronic music | experimental ] --

[313] Detroit-Stockholm
For the Scandinavians and possible tourists out there: Saturday August 17 features Aril Brikha live and DJs Mad Mats and Jesper Kling at club Raw Fusion in Stockholm. It's a pure Detroit night at Stockholm's best underground club. Be there or be rectangular. - To unsubscribe, e-mail: [EMAIL PROTECTED] For additional commands, e-mail: [EMAIL PROTECTED]
[313] Re: Ataril / Aril Brikha
Promo copies of this release have been around for more than a year. I don't know much about the tracks but I would guess that it's some older material that has been dug out. As far as I know, the man behind the label is Spanish/French/Swedish house producer and dj Manuel Perez. peace, Jesper - To unsubscribe, e-mail: [EMAIL PROTECTED] For additional commands, e-mail: [EMAIL PROTECTED]
Re: [313] Balihu 002?
The Danny Wang track on Nuphonic is a remix of Block 16's Electrokution. DW turns it into a 13 minute house dream with an Arthur Russell-like arrangment: guitar solo, dub influences plus a teremin solo! Everyone with an interest in electronic disco and forward thinking house should check it out. Also on Nuphonic (already out): Subway Tracks EP - nice deep house with an electro twist. /Jesper - To unsubscribe, e-mail: [EMAIL PROTECTED] For additional commands, e-mail: [EMAIL PROTECTED]
[313] Cardiology
Hi, I'm usually just a reader of the 313 list, but this time I can't keep from posting a message. I just got the new Recloose album in my hands and it's just as good as expected! The album is a perfect connection between old school Planet E / Theo Parrish / West London and more dubby stuff, and it looks right into the future. It's, of course, very mellow and perhaps with a bit more downtempo stuff than expected, but it works out really well. Here's the tracklisting: 1. Ain't Changin' 2. Ghost Stories 3. Can't Take It 4. Kapiti Dream 5. Up and Up 6. Procession 7. Get There Tonight 8. Permutations 9. M.I.A. 10. Absence of One 11.
