Re: (313) UR
This post is about UR, rather than the war. I feel it's been quite controversial to question the UR statement. There's a lot of confusion in the world and I am not comfortable with the current trends in nationalism, or anti-american sentiments in any way shape or form. It seems to me that many US citizens are reacting in such a way as to strengthen the right-wing leadership agenda. It's been a successful marketting strategy to represent resistance to the major recording industry. They are the heros of the revolution. I think that rather than parody the situation, Mad Mike is placing UR in a fictitious universe with a fictitious president and it's fictitious war. I am sorry but I am now becoming dissillusioned with the UR message. The target this time is not the majors but a rebel faction. The UR message hints towards nationalism, and I would not wish to venture into any further analogies. We (the people of the world) need to take positive action, not kill people, or betray. Andthis isn't the place to discuss the war, but you should all check out guerillanews, it's pretty coolI actually agree that UR's analogy is a little bit heavy-handed, they ceertainly don't seem to enlightened when they use the language of their government - imagine a German label proposing a Final Solution of bootleggers??!! To use war analogies for what is truly an insignificant problem is deeply offensive and could only come from an ignorant brainwashed American ( what we cannot believe from the caller...) one hopes. War is necessary only when a true threat exists. Do the people in these photos look threatening to you http://www.marchforjustice.com/id191.htm? Who is the real criminal here, Saddam or the fearless idiot GW Bush? It's time we wake the f***k up and put the so called UR killer bees to good work instead of settling other people's business. [313] 2nd-hand electro/techno vinyl sources?
I'm currently looking for sources of 2nd-hand vinyl. I'm sure something was suggested further down this list but I can't find it now, any suggestions (other than ebay) ? Of particular interest would be online searchable catalogues. Thanks in advance! - To unsubscribe, e-mail: [EMAIL PROTECTED] For additional commands, e-mail: [EMAIL PROTECTED]

Re: [313] detroit in london
I remember the first time I went to Fabric being really impressed with it, that was probably around 2yrs ago now. Stacy Pullen and Dave Angel were playing and it was wonderful. Such a large venue, bright, fresh I don't really like going to Fabric now! The management really let it go a bit. It's ok if you get into the VIP area upstairs but that never used to be so exclusive. I think it started with great aspirations. Running the joint for profit was a challenge and there's a lot of people involved all wanting their slice of cake.
