new discography site
Hi, All. Apologies if you're already seen this. I've been slowly posting it to a few mailing lists. I've been working on a discography/record database site for a while and I'd like to get your feedback. The site is at: http://www.discogs.com Discogs is basically a framework and all the content is user-contributed. There are about 400 records and 200 labels listed so far, and it's been growing every day. I designed Discogs so that artists, releases, and labels are all cross-linked. So you can easily click an artist and see all of their releases, then click a label and see all of its releases, etc. If you have time check it out and let me know what you think. thanks. -Kevin -- Kevin Lewandowski :: http://www.discogs.com [EMAIL PROTECTED] :: http://www.beatseek.com
Re: [313] Russ Gabriel
I think Russ Gabriel owns the Ferox label. You should definitely check that out (they have two comps, Adventures in Techno Soul). And I have a very incomplete/in progress discography at: http://www.discogs.com/artist/Russ_Gabriel -Kevin On Wed, Dec 13, 2000 at 06:45:52PM +0200, Jussi Lehtonen wrote: > > > Could someone please mail Mr Gabriel's discography and perhaps some > additional information on what he's currently up to? > I've heard only his 10" on Planet E which is titled "Fusion" or > something. Re: [313] eddie fowlkes + track id
That track was a bootleg about a year ago but I think it was officially release on Paper. Not sure if there are two versions but there's also a track by miguel migs and dj rasoul with the same vocal, called "Pirate Radio", released on Transport: http://www.discogs.com/release/70 On Mon, Feb 26, 2001 at 04:54:57PM +1030, Nathan wrote: > > also, during eddie fowlkes set from DEMF last year their is a sting > > track which has the vocal "when the world is running down, you make the > > best of what's still around" can anyone tell me if this is a remix & if > > so, by who? it comes in at about 34mins of part one. > > sorry, that should be about 22mins in part 2. i've recorded the set and it > was 34mins of the recording i have. sorry :) -- Kevin Lewandowski :: http://www.discogs.com [EMAIL PROTECTED] :: http://www.beatseek.com
