There is a program for windows called Total Recorder. It records any sound on your computer to wav or mp3. I would look into the Tascam X9. I have this one. 2 Samplers, 2 Effects processors, 4 channels and the ability to have 2 footswitches for the samplers or effects. You can increase the torque on Techniques, thats what I have done. When I hit stop the platter actually goes in reverse for a while.
