It comes back to diffent styles of music appeal to different people. Some people like loopy songs, some people like complicated song structure, some people like jazz, while another may hate jazz at love ...ahem, cough - Def Leppard. And of course some people are newer, less experienced musicians and play live and you obviously won't get a musical show of the same caliber as someone who has years of experimenting and creative development.
