calm down mr v12 please. enough of this soap opera nonsense. talk about music, move on. dont take it so serious. it's just a mailing list. what's with all the fragile ego's, hostility, insecurity. haven't any of you disagreed with anyone else before. knowing many of those people who have unsubbed..they are far from drama queens. and they had been on the list far far longer than you. they can do whatever they want. let's talk about music. re new nice techno, that octogen record on soma is surprisingly good. check it out at clone -- they have a very nice new embedded soundclip system, very cool...also dan curtin's new record on klang is very nice i think, wish it had another track or two tho since it's such good stuff...leaves you wanting more. and i am anxiously awaiting that buttrich record on planet e, it's huge...i hear berlin, new york and detroit all wrapped up in one in it.. just dropped some $$ at submerge over the weekend, guess it's a bit late to tip, but they are having a big sale, some real nice finds...a couple old planet e's for $1 for instance... -Original Message- >From: v12 <[EMAIL PROTECTED]> >Sent: Sep 6, 2006 10:29 AM >To: Martin Dust <[EMAIL PROTECTED]>, Robert Taylor <[EMAIL PROTECTED]> >Cc: 313@hyperreal.org, chthonic streams <[EMAIL PROTECTED]> >Subject: Re: (313) screaming the truth > >this is the the most ridiculous show ive witnessed for ages.. >unsubscribing drama queens whose party's been spoiled... > >instead of crying, write an official letter of complaint to the admin and >tell who is that >villain who destroys your imaginary perfect discourse.. > >"detroit - where the weak are killed and eaten" >^seems the actual detroiters have already been banned from this list or >never knew >it existed.. > > >the line between sophisticated and the pathetic is thinner than some of you >think. >you do "think" right? > > > >/12

RE: (313) screaming the truth
I didn't think there was that much crying really, just several people saying they're unsubbing as they can't be bothered with posts like this, as opposed to those talking about music, parties and the like. I maintain it's a shame as some of them have been pretty interesting contributors over the years I've (generally) lurked. For the record, I'm one of those who's not that bothered, as I'll just delete the mail, but I think it's unfortunate that (to my mind)some good contributors are bowing out. I think Ken nailed it earlier 'On the other hand, I would suggest a little perspective' -Original Message- From: v12 [mailto:[EMAIL PROTECTED] Sent: 06 September 2006 15:30 To: Martin Dust; Robert Taylor Cc: 313@hyperreal.org; chthonic streams Subject: Re: (313) screaming the truth this is the the most ridiculous show ive witnessed for ages.. unsubscribing drama queens whose party's been spoiled... instead of crying, write an official letter of complaint to the admin and tell who is that villain who destroys your imaginary perfect discourse..
