Re: (313) Blech (Warp 040)
The original Blech (Wap MC 40) is a cassette only release and is long OOP. The CD mentioned below is Blechsdottir (Blech II) and is a completely different animal. jeff http://www.warprecords.com/ography/release.php?cat=WARP44 i don;t know about running order difference On Sun, 13 Jul 2003 [EMAIL PROTECTED] wrote: > Hi all, > > Is Blech a cassette-only release?
RE: (313) Blech (Warp 040)
The Blech! cassette was given away by WAX Magazine, not Muzik and has a different tracklisting from the Blech CD (although some of the tracks are the same). They were both mixed by PC and Strickly Kev of DJ Food (Ninjatune). IIRC the cassette mix is dotted with samples from John Carpenter's Darkstar, but it's been a while since I've heard the CD - the CD and the cassette are distinctly different though. They're both excellent and worth tracking down. Andrew - I have the cassette and can do you a tape of it. I might be able to get someone to do a CDR of it. Hit me back off list and I'll try and sort something out. -Original Message- From: [EMAIL PROTECTED] [mailto:[EMAIL PROTECTED] Sent: Monday, July 14, 2003 7:24 AM To: [EMAIL PROTECTED] Cc: 313@hyperreal.org Subject: RE: (313) Blech (Warp 040) Sorry mate, that's Blechdottir, the follow-up. The first Blech is much more rare (apparently) and the Muzik Magazine tape is probably rarer than that. Someone out there must have it though... I have already sourced a CDR of Blech 1, thanks to a kind and generous 313er, so it's only the Muzik tape that eludes me. If anyone can help it will be rewarded! (313) Blech (Warp 040)
Hi all, Is Blech a cassette-only release? And, does anyone remember the free Blech tape given away with Muzik (RIP all is forgiven!!)? I had it years ago but lost it, and looking at the official tracklisting on Discogs, it seems to have a different running order! Any help is much appreciated. (Anyone selling Blech?) Cheers, Andrew PS. As an incentive I have the Muzik Magazine tape with the unreleased version of Solitary Confinement by Florence, a beautiful electro track. Maybe we can swapsies? ;-)
