Yeah, the whole EP is strong... but "January" is my favorite, just a stellar example of early KDJ in top top form... I play that track A LOT and it just gets better each time. peace Matt MacQueen

Yeah, the B2 track on the Soul City release ('Midnights') is basically a
stripped-down mix of the A1 track on the first Music Is... 12" ('I Like To
Know').
Both records are amazing, some of my favourite KDJ stuff. The Soul City
release is still in the box and 'Midnights' still gets regular airings when
I play out...

Fairly raw - this was an early-ish production and it's kind of before the moodymann sound developed a bit. Used to get battered at our club. Recommended.
