Re: (313) Kraftwerk's live version of the UR mix of expo 2000 (phew)
Listening to it here... Kraftwerk reworking UR and Rolando remixing Kraftwerk, is that cool or what? Lots of mindbending stuff there. Boing Boom Tschak/Musique Non Stop to finish it off -- very nice... It's very much an 'audience tape' but that's fine. So maybe they could play live at DEMF IV in a combined show with Galaxy to Galaxy. Hey, it's only a rumor, but if we spread it around far enough ... phred

I think there was also a vide for this combination of UR and Rolando remix. I've seen it on Viva II a couple of times. Looked similar to original Expo 2000 video. Re: (313) Kraftwerk's live version of the UR mix of expo 2000 (phew)
Actually the main web site is located at http://kraftwerk.technopop.com.br Don't "worry" ;-) we are partner with http://www.kraftwerkcenter.free.fr/... At.br the site is in plain english.. We are volunteers with small means so this is explain why you'll encounter difficulty to download what you want. Download tips Due to the intense traffic, downloads are very hard to be done The success with downloads depends on the disponibility of access of our server. The system allows only 10 users downloading at same time, and if you find the message "Download not available - Try again later", it's because all the channels of access are busy. In this case, you must try the download in another opportunity or try to get the material with another Kraftwerk fans (SoulSeeek filesharing www.slsk.org is a great option). Thanks for your support. There's a live version of Expo2000, which was an amalgamation of both the UR and Rolando mixes, not their own version, which is v.unusual for the 'werk. Go to "Concerts" and then "lire" for the Paris shows. The quality is not great (ie bootleg) but it still gives the impression of being quite meaty sounding live, which it was. I'd check Neon Lights as well, the first time it was played live since 1981. The server capacity is v.limited, so don't all jump on there at once! cheers Toby www.bleep43.com _ MSN 8: advanced junk mail protection and 2 months FREE*. http://join.msn.com/?page=features/junkmail

Hope they play this version tonight at Big Day Out, down here in Auckland, NZ. Slater is on before them, dj set. Should be a fine time indeed...
