Just picked up a couple cool things myself. The new Raiders of the Lost Arp 12 - Funk Series pt 2 and Was Not Was - New Electric Buzzfunk EP. The flip on that raiders is a dope electro track and the was not was had shades of dan bell at his clicky funkiest. Highly recommended! -drew [EMAIL PROTECTED] wrote: from Rushhour's list 02.1 $TINKWORX - AEDENA EP - EU12 - DELSIN - 47DSR/$TW 3 - 26141 02.2. $TINKWORX - AIN'T-CHIT HISTORY - EUCD - 48DSR/$TWCD-1 - 25823 woo! both are nice. the new stinkwork 12 is great, one of his best I reckon. On Murat, I was introduced to his music at last years DEMF. It seems he is big on play lists in Detroit. Heard 3 different cuts at the 430 west party in one night! Kind of teknotika/ scandinavian tribal tech production. He is headlining a party on Sunday night 27 May in Detroit. check www.technotourist.org/afterdemf.php You should be able to hear snippets of all the songs you asked about at www.groovetech.com or www.satelliterecords.com good luck and keep listening and asking! (313) New releases from the Nature, Balance, Plasmek camp...
New releases from the Nature, Balance, Plasmek camp... Artists: Js Pool Title: Mepsinalium ep Cat. n°: NAT2115 Format: 12 Release date: 1st of February Another act from England, and this time its a new band comin from London. The Js Pool (a quite young duo) appeared already on the first Finalfrontier sampler with one track. Their music is a deep downtempo electronic with very interesting rhythmic structure, from hip hop to jazzy influenced. This is just a 4 tracks preview of their entire range of sound that will be available later on in the year on a double LP CD. Artists: Mat101 Title: Arcade remixes (feat. Adult, DArcangelo, De Lisio) Cat. n°: NAT2115 Format: 12 Release date: 14th of February After their first album out on Balance (that was a collaboration between our oldest labels Nature Plasmek), finally heres the long awaited remix release with contributions coming from Ersatz Audios Adult, from Rephlexian Naturals DArcangelo plus a new act coming out from Rome: De Lisio. On this 12, the versions of course are very eclectic: Adult brings his own style into the Mat101 melodic structure, a kind of hi-speed new wave electro; DArcangelo destroyed the original theme of Arcade, adapting Mat101 to their abstract disturbed sounds; De Lisio brought us a classic Nature flavoured version, tons of melodies with broken beats. Theres a bonus version coming from Mat101 its the very original version check it out! Artists: Marco Passarani Title: 6 Katun Cat. n°: NAT2117 Format: 2x12 CD Release date: middle / end of March Finally heres the first album from Marco Passarani on Nature. This work collects eight new tracks plus the (in)famous three tracks from NAT2105 (New wave 2 / New wave 3), NAT2106 (Floid) the disappeared license. The style touches classic passarani electronix and a little bit of experimental hip hop sounds, blending abstract melodies and electro mid-tempo breaks. This album will be available on CD too with some more tracks coming from the passarani natures back catalogue. Artists: Jolly music Title: Jolly bar 2000 Cat. n°: NAT2118 Format: LP single CD Release date: end of March / beg. Of April Special new project from the duo that brought us the Mat101! Francesco de Bellis and Mario Pierro now they release also using another name with a new experiement called Jolly music. A preview track from this project came out on Finalfrontier sampler vol.1 . Its a kind of melting pot of many many styles from old italian obscure disco to electronic house, from hip hop to electro . Everything done with many samples taken here and there + many small cut/up tracks realised with tape decks turntables. A kind of library of new ideas combined with sounds that go from 70 to 88. More infos about this project will be available on the upcoming web page. Artists: Sprawl Title: Unknown patterns Cat. n°: PLASMEK 009 Format: LTD 12 Release date: 14th of February Limited series from Plasmek with three electro tracks taken from the Finalfrontier archives. The writer of the tracks is Andrea Benedetti himself .. the originator of Plasmek, and he gave us a kind of hypnotic electro on one side, and a deep / dark electro-tech on the other one. Strictly 500 copies available. Artists: DArcangelo Title: Blind Retina Cat. n°: Engine 01 * new label! Format: 12 Release date: 14th of February The long awaited DArcangelos label is finally available!!! Five tracks of introspective DArcangelo sound that comes back after their great double pack out on Rephlex a year ago. This new label will feature most of the times DArcangelos experiments but there will be also some special guest from the electronix network, later on in the year Artists: Prodamkey crew Title: Old beatsnfresh sounds Cat. n°: Pdk 001 * new label Format: 12 Release date: 1st of February The Prodamkey debut ep contains six tracks coming from a crew made by Max Durante (veteran italian dj and member with DArcangelo of the Automatic Sound Unlimited in 91), D-Zandry, A. P-Lunga and Key. The sound is based on old electro freestyle beats with a modern attitude .. a record dedicated to the past technologies.
