Re: (313) new dbx
The track "Squirrel Bait" is on the "Blip, Blurp, Bleep: The music of Daniel Bell" CD compilation released in September 2003 on Logistic. And its written 1999 as production date. And to me, its sounds like farmyard animals communicating by morse code :) If i have to choose, my favorite DBX' track would be "Phreak". I like the expanded clap and kick on it! I guess it would be perfect in a bangin Chicago mix :) Hmm actually its part of "Ghetto Trax" EP. - KiDD*e* - Original Message - From: "Grammenos, Peter" <[EMAIL PROTECTED]> To: "'Mark S. Squirrel Bait is hot! I dig all three tracks on it. Very quirky techno, but I also agree that it needs to be heard loudly. I often annoy my parents by shaking the basement with it. The stereo phasing really adds depth to the tracks. Mark S. Krüx wrote: Yeap that's the one they're all on about The b-side has two unreleased mid nineties DBX tracks. re the new dbx, anyone heard it? cant find any samples online yet, but rh and clone have it..sounds dope from the description! was just checking some samples of new stuff over at submerge, lotsa goodies! cool to see they are carrying stuff from a lot of different labels these days, even some ghostly and ferris park stuff in now..and they have added docile to the list of s.i.d. labels. all sorts of stuff worth checking out for sure. but i guess especially of note: ur - transition acapella 12" i'm not all about the accapella, but the new track on there sounds nice! ur #51 - unkown soldier...some submarine ping hitech funk, pretty dope, pretty drexciyan!...and a more bangin track which sounds ok. hahaha that nsc xmas record cracked me the f up!!! the little drummer boy track is nice hahahah oh damn that is so funny...some other new nsc stuff i hadnt heard about yet too, sounded pretty nice.. speaking of ghostly, i'm surprised i didnt see much mention of that "buck" record by matt dear(?)..i think thats the one? i never saw it listed this way, but it sounded very much like old dmay to me..that wigged out dx sound...pretty out there...a friend played it for me and i was surprised to hear who it was. i'm not so into that double pack listed at submerge tho jt _ High-speed usersbe more efficient online with the new MSN Premium Internet Software. http://join.msn.com/?pgmarket=en-us&page=byoa/prem&ST=1
