Re: [313] Hotel List DEMF(the one being held in Detroit)

2001-02-21 Thread Phat Pat
There are a few more hotel in Downtown that aren't
really priced too high. The Marriott (Rennaissance
Center) runs about $130 a night, and I think it has
about 1300 rooms. It is also right next to Hart Plaza
along the river. Across the street from the Marriott
is the Courtyard. I stayed there last weekend and
paid $120/night. They also upgraded my room to a
suite, and I still only paid $120. The courtyard is
right across from Hart Plaza. The Pontchartrain Hotel
is also right across from Hart Plaza, but I'm not sure
what it costs.
Also, for any of these hotels you'll probably pay
about $20/day for parking. That is if you get the
valet parking for your hotel. If you park in a public
deck, you'll pay every time you come and go. At the
hotel parking decks you pay once per day, regardless
of how many times you come and go.
I hope to see everyone there.
Later,
Pat
