hardly anyone was dancing until Genesis got on the mic and started hyping up
the crowd. Chaos came on about one. Not sure if the dj was using decks for
the main beat or a notebook. The other member was on a Yamaha CRX-1, and
then there was the vocalist...rolling around on the floor in his trench
coat. That dude was crazy, but I loved how he ran around and made people
dance that weren't already. But again, they only performed maybe 6 tracks,
Wayyy too short. But hearing "Afrogermanic" live was worth it in itself.
Overall a very enjoyable night.

[313] UR at Porter Street (my $ .02 )

2002-02-23 Thread Pryor, Ryan N
The night started out with your basic electro, techno and booty. 12:30- The
Tek Brothers came on. The two Brothers were each seated up front playing
electronic drum kits backed by a dj throwing down the main beat. They were
just going off. Funky, funky, funky. But they only played 4 tracks! wtf?
hardly anyone was dancing until Genesis got on the mic and started hyping up
