 Hi all
just wondering if anyone had listened to the dj bone
peel session mix and could Id some tracks
the agressive spoken word intro for many years you've
been warned the revolution would not be televised
and the bassy breaks style track he plays over
elements of life and the start of man with the red
 face

 thanx

 hey man,

have you met john before? he's just fantastic. he must be in like his 60's
now, but his show is one of the only places you'll hear true techno in the
UKalong with hip hop, jazz, reggae, folk, punk, drum bass...ive never
heard mojo but from i know of him the comparisson is pretty accurate. he's
a
living legend...and a real nice guy - ive had the pleasure of meeting him
on
a couple of occasions and he's just really chilled. he's done massive
amounts to turn white listeners onto black music...i remember my dad used
to
listen to his show when i was a kid...and that was the first time i heard
stuff like doug e fresh, cybotron, bambatta, KRS1

basically, hes the boss. just dont be surprissed when u meet the
guyhe's
been DJing since the beatles and presly!

 enjoy,

 tim

Nah, mate - if anything, Mojo is the Peel of Detroit! :-) Alternatively,
Peel has been described as 'the most important figure in the history of
popular music'. And as Tim says, he is the nicest old geezer you'll meet in
this business.

TOM

He is known in the UK as the Mojo of London.

 Hello All,
I have been forwarded a few inquiries about me playing on Radio 1.

Here's the scoop: On Wednesday, April 4th, 2001
I will be playing a live, 3 turntable John Peel Session on his Radio 1
show.
The showtime is 22:00 hrs (5:00 p.m. Detroit Time) and will be streamed
live
 on the BBC website (www.bbc.co.uk/radio1).
For those who are not familiar with John Peel please take the time to do a
little research on him. He is known in the UK as the Mojo of London.
My mission is to let the world know that we have much more to offer than
 just our past.
I intend to represent Detroit's present and future.

 P.S.
For those in the UK attending the Session in the Live studio audience:
I've received word that they may have to move the Session into a larger
studio due to the number of people attending.
There is room for 50 but i think 100 are coming (biggest Session
turnout?).
 THANK YOU for the support!
