Nah, mate - if anything, Mojo is the Peel of Detroit! :-) Alternatively, Peel has been described as 'the most important figure in the history of popular music'. And as Tim says, he is the nicest old geezer you'll meet in this business. TOM He is known in the UK as the Mojo of London.

Here's the scoop: On Wednesday, April 4th, 2001 I will be playing a live, 3 turntable John Peel Session on his Radio 1 show. The showtime is 22:00 hrs (5:00 p.m. Detroit Time) and will be streamed live on the BBC website (www.bbc.co.uk/radio1). For those who are not familiar with John Peel please take the time to do a little research on him. He is known in the UK as the Mojo of London. My mission is to let the world know that we have much more to offer than just our past. I intend to represent Detroit's present and future. P.S. For those in the UK attending the Session in the Live studio audience: I've received word that they may have to move the Session into a larger studio due to the number of people attending. There is room for 50 but i think 100 are coming (biggest Session turnout?).
