(313) kinda OT....... Re: (313) for your listening pleasure... a bit on the housier tip
oh yeah, netmusique is cool ! I will start a show pretty soon on there (on the jazzmusique stream), entirely dedicated to downtempo, in the widest meaning (triphop, abstract / instrumental hiphop, very very deep house, smooth brokenbeats, dancehall, midtempo breaks, atmospheric db, jazzy beats, rare grooves, idm and glitchy stuffs as well), and I'm looking for DJ sets to broadcast every week; if you have anything like that, get in touch with me ! cheers, cyhl http://www.bastardjazz.com http://www.dreamlabrecords.com/DreamLabzFM.htm (june sets are up !) (313) kinda OT - Rush Hour's Store artwork
Hey, what's up everybody. Sorry to be a little off topic, but couldn't think of another list that might know this...A short while ago I was @ Rush Hour and noticed a painting on the wall, directly above the listening stations. About 5ft. long and maybe 2ft high, with a nicely done graffiti tag on it. Anyone know where this came from? Who painted it? Where I might find something like it? Thanks for any insight... d$

[313] kinda OT
i friend of mine who lives in São Paulo have this cool music project that now i'll share with u. he is making really interesting music.. http://www.twodividedbyzero.com/ Two Divided By Zero is an electronic music project whose idea is to merge 80's technopop and early 90's dance music elements with electronic music made nowadays, mainly techno, electro and breakbeat. The project is also influenced by artists like Orbital and Leftfield, as well as dub and minimal music. his tracks sound better than his description. : ] - To unsubscribe, e-mail: [EMAIL PROTECTED] For additional commands, e-mail: [EMAIL PROTECTED]
Re: [313] [Kinda OT] No drama, please...
I like the GU/John Digweed mix a lot, it hasn't left my car stereo for days now... It's deep, dark and dirty and there are some tracks in this mix wich have a massive drive! but hey, let's keep it between us otherwise the 'techno-community' might not take us serious anymore:) Regards, Martijn ps. I actually enjoyed the mix as well. Compared to previous efforts, this one was actually deep, dark and seemed to care more about the mix as a whole than playing that hit song with that killer build. It was refreshing for Global Underground mix anyway. ben -Original Message- From: Mad Wax [mailto:[EMAIL PROTECTED] Sent: Thursday, March 01, 2001 1:04 PM To: Bulger, Tim; 313@hyperreal.org Subject: Re: [313] [Kinda OT] No drama, please... I'm sure many people here think he sucks, but I think some of his previously released stuff shows some measure of talent. This CD is the most generic sound I've heard to date from anyone and it seems the target audience is people who want to say they like electronic music but really don't.
