Also does anyone know what Walt J is up to these days??? I heard a rumour that he was behind the DFA 'Microstructural Characterization' 12 that came out on Surveillance (a new Detroit label) earlier this year. It's a great record - three beautiful tracks of minimal, melodic Detroit hosue. It certainly sounds like it could be him but like I say it was just a rumour I heard... http://www.surveillancerecordings.com/ is the cryptic website (links are hidden in the left column)... Just to confuse matters further, I think you're talking about a different label - which is also called 'Surveillance' and also putting out techno! I haven't heard the releases on the other label, just the DFA 12... Cheers, Tom - To unsubscribe, e-mail: [EMAIL PROTECTED] For additional commands, e-mail: [EMAIL PROTECTED]
Re: [313] new records I recommend
That is correct, Randy is on Surveillance Records, a different label. www.surveillance.net (its under construction at this time) Surveillance 004 is coming out right now, which is Matt French doing some hot robot sex electro. Surveillance has provided St. Louis with something to be really proud of. I love those boys. There isn't much on the site right now, but if anyone is interested, I might be able to send some mp3's along or something... -dina - Original Message - From: tom churchill [EMAIL PROTECTED] To: Maarten Baute [EMAIL PROTECTED]; Minto George [EMAIL PROTECTED]; 313@hyperreal.org Sent: Sunday, May 19, 2002 7:36 AM Subject: Re: [313] new records I recommend I heard a rumour that he was behind the DFA 'Microstructural Characterization' 12 that came out on Surveillance (a new Detroit label) earlier this year.
