also, does anyone know if there is still a tikiman live set available
on the net sumwhere, if so where?

Actually I seem to remember a discussion a few months ago about
a website that hosted a plethora of dub-related live sets from the likes
of Tikiman and Monolake to name a few but I cant seem to remember
the URL at the moment. I think Bill Vanloo was the person who
originally posted the addy. Hopefully somebody here will remember
more of the details.

and while I'm on one...whatz da new pole3 like?

. Pole: cd3 (Matador)
Betke with his third and most advanced album. The tracks on this one
are more developed giving this release more of a classic dub edge as
opposed to his experimental dub sound of previous releases. dont
think the pops clicks are gone though, they're still there just not
the focus on this one. Probably my favorite Pole album to date.

Also on the dub front:
. Staedtizism comp cd (~Scape)
I know I mentioned this one a few weeks ago but it's still getting
heavy rotation. The tracks from Gramm, V Delay, Sun Electric,
Kit Clayton, and Thomas Fehlmann are still doing it for me. Betke
did a great job in compiling this one as did the musicians involved.

You can hear both releases at:

I know that there's a Monolake set here, but don't know of one by Tikiman.

Hello folks,

I think the link you're looking for is this one : http://www.boombox.net

Have a look in the archives, then the 'electronic' section for a whole load
of amazing real audio and video from the likes of Tikiman, Pole, Kit
Clayton, Porter Ricks, Thomas Brinkmann, a Kompakt Showcase + + + + .
There's also a load of stuff from other genres in the main archive list - A
rather good site by all accounts!!

Currently sat at home (4pm) wondering how many hours I've got to go before I
can tune into the DEMF livestream and feel sick with envy.

Hope the lucky ones are enjoying the final day. My masochistic side can't
wait for the reports!!

I remember listening to an amazing Tikiman set on Boombox (www.boombox.net)
upon recommendation from my good friend Sarah SK-1 (Did you make it down to
the DEMF Sarah?). Maybe its still in the archives. As for Monolake, you can
listen to their live set with Kit Clayton at www.monolake.de/realaudio.html.
