I was lucky to interview the late James Stinson of Drexciya over the phone in December 2001 (so nervous that I called BMG for a pep talk before the call). Aired the audio on my syndicated mixshow and published a text feature on my Cognition Audioworks website. The audio is a challenge to listen to at times. Stephen Rennicks (who has tirelessly run the Drexciya Research Lab for 13+ years) uploaded the audio to YouTube. That and Liz Copeland's interview formed the basis of the RA audio feature unleased in Oct that lead to much discussion. If I ever find the OG audio file, have offers to restore it with 2018 tech. Speaking of which, the text feature published on my bare-bones site has just been given a much-needed refresh 17 years later by Thomas Venker at the German magazine Kaput: https://kaput-mag.com/stories_en/drexciya-why-not-give-it-a-try-again-and-see-what-will-happen_-an-interview-with-james-stinson-by-andrew-duke/
