Yes it's true that Final Scratch prevents audio feedback, and thus
prevents that fuzzy bass build-up from happening, but as with all clouds
there is a silver lining.

When you go to play at the club and the other DJs are all using normal
vinyl then they have a limit to how loud they can play.  Plug in your
Final Scratch setup and then, because you have no feedback to worry
about, you can boost the volume by a good couple of dBs, making you
sound that much better than everyone else (unless you suck normally) so
in essence instead of having a fuzzy bass, you just have MORE clean
bass.

Problem solved.
