Re: Fw: RE: (313) Movement sched. Blactronica? - SORT IT OUT

2003-05-21 Thread BADI
i don't feel the need to imply anything...i said it
very diplomatically, but this won't be how we address
it in the future...

i'm only referring to the fact that someone using a
name and concept awfully similar to mine is now
headlinig at the festival...it's been a long
heartbreaking road for us to build the level of
awareness to where it is now...(WARNING:IMPLICATION--)
plus there are mouths to feed...

we've made many attempts to SORT IT OUT...
the people behind this have made no attempt to
address us on the issue...you know...collaboration or
whatever...they don't have to ...they are players
who've been involved with majors at one point, and
have sponsorship from alcohol companies (everyone
knows the devistation alcohol creates in the african
community)on top of this...they talk of being
influenced by african-american artists from the
past...yet, we are the artists living the african
american experience RIGHT NOW...

finally...
how would you like it if i put my mack-hand on your
girls a$$ (or boys...but i'm not into that )

holla

uhm..i think you need to be _really_ careful here...you don't know any of the
details and yet you are publicly proclaiming some level of shadiness ...

This *STINKS*.

Most of us would expect better from those behind this year's event.
