If you're stil around on Tuesday it's worth trying Flames. I spent a couple of 
hours there yesterday and their stock is excellent right now, especially for 
soul and jazz.

The shop is down a little alley just off Woodward on Hancock, behind the 
abandoned Police station.

Didn't enjoy Melodies so much (though that was a few years ago),  pulled some 
good disco out there though.

heading back to ny tomorrow morning. got to work. hawtin played very
nicely sounding but generic hardish techno for the first thirty
minutes. then went to stand on main stage as miles maeda was closing
and carl craig is doing his carl craig thing. he was talking for a few
minutes of a detroit techno pep talk.

and Reggie's first CD Album, The Afromation are now both available in
