RE: (313) new emoticon - Double Helix

2003-04-25 Thread alex . bond

MattThe Double Helix mix CDs are incredible too, diverse selections and
deep, cool house/dub and dusties selections.

Hmm, these sound good. Does anyone know where I can purchase one of these?

Thanks,

Alex

RE: (313) new emoticon - Double Helix

2003-04-24 Thread Matthew MacQueen
can anyone point me to any online clips of the new double helix ep on
  emoticon?

 http://www.emoticonrecordings.com/emot014.html

I'm late on this thread but Hans and Rebecca's sound is just getting better and
better... this record is awesome. And it's definitely a unique sound, you can
hear the Detroit influences but it's original too. (this is how I feel about
Recloose too).

If you like Sync or Swing you definitely need to track down their Funxtiles EP
on Rush Hour... there is a slower tempo cut on there that is wicked (forgot the
name, I think it's on the long side??). All the Double Helix stuff is so
well-produced too, I'm glad they are getting more exposure. The Double Helix
mix CDs are incredible too, diverse selections and deep, cool house/dub and
dusties selections.

peace,
Matt MacQueen
