got a copy of new Rotating Assembly CD yesterday, the track "orchestral
hall" is unbelievable, but i need to listen to the rest of the album
probably a few times more, his soulfulness and jazzy jam-session
character suprised me and i don't get it initially...
yeah the guys from rushhour played the cd a bunch while they were visiting
last fall, and it really wasnt much my thing...i liked it, but wasnt too
excited by it, a couple real nice tracks, real organic jazzy
stuff...basically i got the same impression of it as you describe above.
maybe i'd get more into it in a different environment, with more listenings
etc. i'm sure all the theo fanatics will dig it tho
