P.S. There's a good interview with Jeff about "One Man Spaceship"
as well as growing up in Detroit, UR etc. here:

(Warning: There's an embedded hidden MP3 link in the page that you
can't turn off, so make sure your speakers are off/low before you
go to that page)

FYI:

"One Man Spaceship" was posted to Usenet (in alt.binaries.boneless)

The samples from the Axis website sound great; one track in particular
has a very hypnotic feel to it, the kind that could do major floor
damage. Further (and I'm sure very enthusiastic) review to follow.

It's a return to form I think after 2 or 3 years of middling work from him. Very lush,
abstract minimal techno in the same vein as Metropolis, which IMHO is still his best
"album".

It is a bit frustrating however that a lot of people won't hear this record.
And given that Mr Mills isn't an artist I think that needs return on these CD

p2p sharing.

anyone have a link to a like-minded liveset of his?

i refuse to pay for a recording of someone mixing records, but also refuse
to steal the mixes that are only available for a fee.

Amazon.co.uk are quoting this cd as being released on 12th February for
£15.99, so maybe it's getting a wider release everywhere.

To me, this album was one of the highs of 2006. The sounds actually
reminded me to space and space travel. From this album, Mills` love
for old science fiction movies becomes very clear. The theme, plus the
fact he really makes his machines sing, make this a top album.
