I recorded a few tracks from the Mathew Herbert Big Band @ Sonar and will post it once I get my baggage back (it was sent to the wrong airport) ! SONAR was inspirational. they've been doing these every year since at least 2000. they used to be 4 CD sets for like $19, an amazing deal. Now they're down to two CDs for the same price. Did anyone see Darshan from Metro Area DJ at Sonar this year? I heard he went off!! Was it recorded? Peace, Matt MacQueen

Did anyone see Darshan from Metro Area DJ at Sonar this year? I heard he went off!! I saw some of his set, which was fantastic - but he was on at the same time as Mills who absolutely rocked it, so I was torn between the two for a couple of hours. The end of Mills' set was off the hook - he took the 909 off its stand behind the decks and carried it to the front of the stage where he crouched down and worked it for about five minutes with 10,000 people going apeshit...
