The "lots of people do it" defense is creative poison. It's the kind
of thinking that kept techno in a locked drumtrack rut for five years.

thinking that criticise people for using drum machines or other
"not real" instruments. the lines here are not very clear and most
of the people drawing them in the first place are full of sh*t
anyway.

im just pointing out that it has been an accepted practice in
techno music to sample even other techno records for many years
now. im not making any judgements on the quality of music that
this practice has made, lord knows my opinion of it probably
wouldnt be very high.
