Hi Parimala,
Was there a good response to the interviews from the visually challenged
community.
My personal feeling is that there are not enough qualified persons amongst
the visually challenged but I would stand corrected if you could let me know
how many visually challenged applied for these jobs.

2007-06-18 Thread Pranav Lal
Hi,

For linux access, you will need to use ubuntu and orca. Just download ubuntu
v7.4 and put it into a virtual machine. Ethereal is now called wireshark and
it is marginally more accessible in linux so you may try that. There no jaws
scripts available.

Hi,
You will have an issue with Ethereal for sure. nmap, tcpdump are ok.
The rootkit is also ok though I am not too sure how you will use it. I
am not sure about some of the others. Plus, do you have linux access?
Some of the tools are linux based.

[AI] (AI) How to make Thunderbird accessible

2007-06-18 Thread subramani L
Folks:

Yesterday, I had downloaded Thunderbird and have configured both my
gmail and yahoo mails. The problem is, thunderbird seems extremely
inaccessible and I have difficulties not only in opening and reading
mails, but also sending mails. Especially the composing templet seems
very diferent from MSO or OE.

Folks, can any of you let me know how thunderbird can be made
accessible with JAWS 5? Do you think Jaws 5 is too low a version to
amke it work with Thunderbird?

[AI] Admission in NIVH(Information Needed)

2007-06-18 Thread Viraj Kafle
To,
Whom it may concern.

Dear sir/madam,
A visually challenged boy from Kathmandu, Nepal, wants to seek admission in
your prestigious institution. I would be obliged if you kindly provide me the
following information:

1. Are the admissions started? If yes, what is the last date for applying?
Otherwise, when approximately will the process start?
2. Are you entertaining admissions directly in class 11th?
3. Considering the fact that the concerned person is from Kathmandu, is he
likely to get the hostel fascilities if he clears the interview or fulfills
whatever criteria required for him to get admission?

A quick response would be of great help.

With regards,

Viraj Kafle,
