Re: [AI] regarding 20% discount on BSNL broadband
My advise would be to take the printed copy with you to your concerned officer. Then I don't think that you will face any difficulty. Because as you are already saying that officer is not aware. And certainly, it is available for us. On the bsnl website, under the section of notices, in subsection of for customers, there is this information given this news was posted on 27th of Apr. Or else, you can take the print out of the tarif plan in which they mention that this discount is available to both new and existing VI subscribers. The link was posted on the list by Mr. Samual from Karnataka. I don't have it but if you are not able to find then drop me an email, I will send you. hope it helps Amar Jain. - Original Message - From: shikher goyal shikag...@gmail.com To: accessindia@accessindia.org.in Sent: Sunday, May 17, 2009 7:08 PM Subject: [AI] regarding 20% discount on BSNL broadband hei to all hope all are fine few days ago, there was a discussion that a visually impaired person can also get 20% discount on BSNL broadband connection. actually i talked to SDO of telephone exchange which handle broadband in my area and he told me that this discount is for government employees. he had no knowledge about this discount for VI people. is it true that this is also for VI's? and if yes, then what would i've to do for this 20% discount? with regards shikher To unsubscribe send a message to accessindia-requ...@accessindia.org.in with the subject unsubscribe. [AI] Jaws working with Windows Live messenger
Hi Friends, Yesterday, I have updated my system with the latest Windows Live messenger. Well, I have mixed reaction for it. One of my biggest problem of accessing my hotmail mails on the web based server is now resolved, where it allows you to receive and send mails from an outlook express like application with similar keyboard commands. However, they have changed the chat interface, where the key board command for reading the last messages does not work like it did with earlier ones. I have to route PC to Jaws and use arrows key to read the chat, which is not as convenient as it was earlier. Can the list members help us with their experience of using the latest windows messenger chat and do we have any scripts where we can make the chat window as accessible as the earlier versions.
