[AI] Need a call recorder

Friends,

I am using a call recorder in Nokia C5 called,
Ultimate_Voice_Recorder_NokiaS60v5_v6.1.2.sis

However, the purpose of the software stands defeated as even having
put off the automatic warning beap in the settings, it still beats
while recording the call.

Earlier, in Nokia 70 i was using the same software which worked very
well with out any sound while recording.

Kindly share with me any software's name which would record calls wiht
out any sound.

I suspect many of those who vote against any fixed escort despite 
availability/affordability/no privacy concerns, are partially blind, meaning

during lunch.  I had to fumble my way to the queue starting with the plate 
point, often getting somebody to fill up with edibles & helping me to the 
standing table.  Where I could answer & raise questions with confidence during 
our faculty lectures, I felt my confidence was badly shaken in lunch place only 
depending on others to feed me with their help.  Even the lunch place was 
hundreds of metres away from training ground where reaching could be more than 
mere fumbling for the place.  In such scenario, as often it is with a blind 
person alone, I always think a fixed escort if you could have it, would be the 
best option.  Your confidence level is very high, you feel at par with your 
colleagues & have your own world to enjoy without any dependence on new persons 
for your pleasure of choice.  It could be really very harassing asking for help 
everyone for your needs & feeling bad when society fails to help you in time.

e-mail by entering my id and password and follow the steps. but one doubt is 
that after setup an e-mail, is it accessible to talks? means talks will read 
new mails? and when new mails arise, will it notify me like when new sms 
arise and it will notify us. and, what is the other way which you have told?

flash player, there is always message of upgrade your Adobe flash
player, and so I can't go through any video website.

journies without escort. and it is my interest to travel long distance by

Whether you are sighted or blind, the moment you step out of the
comfort zone of your home, you increase the chance of facing accidents
and it certainly does not stop people from moving around. It goes for
everything like, no plane travel without the risk of accidents etc.
Henceforth it shouldn't be used as a reason to restrict someone's
mobility. We happily go to bed and who knows whether we'll wake-up
tomorrow or not and it doesn't or shouldn't stop us from sleeping.

Wearable sensors that allow the blind to "see" with their hands,
bodies or faces could be on the horizon, thanks to a $2 million award
from the National Science Foundation (NSF) to researchers at The City
College of New York and Georgia Institute of Technology (Georgia
Tech).

The grant, through the NSF "Emerging Frontiers in Research and
Innovation" program, will fund a multidisciplinary team investigating
devices for "alternative perception" and the principles underlying the
human-machine interaction. Alternative perception emulates vision by
combining electronics and input from the other senses. In addition to
aiding the visually impaired, the researchers expect the findings to
lend themselves to other applications, such as the development of
intelligent robots.

The grant is the first to result from a collaboration supported by
CCNY's City SEED Grants program, an internal award of $50,000 in seed
money to promote interdisciplinary faculty research partnerships. The
program, initiated in the fall of 2010 by President Lisa S. Coico,
requires grant recipients to include a plan to expand their projects
and apply for further funding from other organizations.

The initial collaboration involved Dr. Zhigang Zhu, professor of
computer science and computer engineering in City College's Grove
School of Engineering, the principal investigator on the NSF grant,
Dr. Tony Ro, professor of psychology and director of the Program in
Cognitive Neuroscience, and Dr. Ying Li Tian, professor of electrical
engineering. "The whole project needed something more
interdisciplinary, so I looked for complementary research and found my
neighbor Tony (Ro's laboratory) is right next door," said Professor
Zhu.

"(This) was truly a good example of an interdisciplinary proposal and
members with a complementary expertise -- not just similar overlapping
expertise -- which is unusual," said CCNY Associate Provost for
Research Larry Bank, who oversees the City SEED Grants program. "We
must integrate input from the sciences, engineering and, often, art
and humanities, to have a true understanding of phenomena."

The researchers joined forces to disentangle how humans learn to
coordinate input from their senses -- e.g. vision, touch -- with
movements, like reaching for a glass or moving through a crowded room.
They will then map out how machines, such as robots and computers,
learn similar tasks, in order to model devices that can assist humans.


The team, which combines expertise in engineering, computer science,
neuroscience, motor control and biomechanics, envisions a
multifunctional array of sensors on the body and has already developed
prototypes for some of the devices. The full complement of wearable
sensors would help a sightless person navigate by conveying
information about his or her surroundings.

Professor Zhu works on navigation and obstacle detection by robots.
For the project, he will focus on machine sensing and computer
learning to understand the human-computer interaction.

He will also refine displays that would feed information from
electronic sensors to the human wearer of the device. His lab is
already testing a sensor that can detect proximity to an object and
convey its distance with vibration on the hand or other body part. As
one gets closer to a table, for example, it gradually increases the
intensity of the stimulation.

Professor Ro, a neuroscientist, will provide a window into what is
going in the brain as sighted and visually impaired individuals
navigate a room or virtual environment with and without devices to
assist them. Using Professor Zhu's distance sensor, he is now testing
how sensitive people are in discriminating vibrations to the hand that
tell them how far it is from an object. He will determine whether they
can make accurate judgments and whether they might be using the visual
parts of the brain.

Professor Tian works on higher-level visual understanding by machines,
such as detecting and identifying doors, exit signs, colors or stairs
in a room. A system like this could audibly tell the wearer that an
object on the floor was a cat or a footstool, for example.

Dr. Kok-Meng Lee, professor of mechanical engineering and director of
the Advanced Intelligent Mechatronics Research Laboratory at Georgia
Tech, who has expertise in mechanotronics -- the combination of
mechanics and the electronics of information systems -- works on
machine vision and novel sensor designs. He will help develop the
theory and methods for detecting objects thermally and magnetically
and find out how this affects walking. This will help break down the
essentials of orienting oneself in a new environment and navigating
through it.

You shall have to deregister yourself from the DND registry.

There is another way, you can partially deregistered your number for
the given catagories on 1909..

Dear Austin,

I have a feeling that your figures and units are a lil mixed up.
(Battery is usually rated in VA, for example.)

Whatever it is, it is advisable not to use your laptop's battery charger
with the output from your Inverter.  It is, of course,  a different
matter altogether if the device is an online UPS with sine wave output,
in which case the voltage regulation is quite good.

*A BANGLADESHI HACKER* has managed to break into the computer infrastructure
of a company called Inmotion Hosting and defaced hundreds of thousands of
web sites hosted on its servers.

According to the US web hosting
provider,
its administrators noticed an attack in progress at around 4am EST on 25
September and immediately moved to block it.

The hacker, who calls himself TiGER-M@TE and previously defaced Google
Bangladesh, tried to replace the index.php of all Inmotion-hosted web sites
to which he gained access.

It's not clear how many he managed to deface before being locked out of the
system, but his submission to the Zone-H defacement archive resulted in the
web site's server crashing.

Nevertheless, over one hundred thousand requests went through, with his
Zone-H profile  now listing
167,054 new defacements. A separate text file uploaded by the hacker online
contains over 730,000 domain names corresponding to web sites hosted at
Inmotion Hosting.

Defaced web sites displayed an image reading "HACKED", the hacker's name and
the usual "greetz" hackers leave during such attacks. But TiGER-M@TE didn't
just replace the index.php file in every home directory. He did it for all
sub-directories as well, making manual cleanup much harder for webmasters.

Fortunately, the company developed an automated system to restore the
original files from backups, a process that lasted until late in the day. At
11pm Inmotion reported that it had repaired most of its customers' web
sites.

"The majority of the automated repairs for shared have taken place at this
time. We will continue to do repairs as possible tonight and tomorrow. If
your site is showing a directory listing instead of your site, you will need
to upload a replacement," the company said in an update on its web site.

It's not exactly clear how TiGER-M@TE broke in, but Inmotion's
security teamsuspects
a vulnerability in an authentication
system.
Customer access to Cpanel, a popular web site configuration and management
application, was disabled by Inmotion soon after it detected the attack

Training Program" A DIVERSITY AND DISABILITY TRAINING PROGRAM THAT SEEKS TO

and its revision in 1993 to reflect changes in legislation and the Americans
