[AI] MS outlook version 7

2012-03-03 Thread Archana Bhatia
Hi All,

I am using windows7 with Jaws 13, I have two quarries regarding MS outlook
1) How to highlight read /unread messages.
I mean if I have both read and unread messages in my inbox then how to
hide the read messages.
2) What is the faster way of going from one message to the other.
I mean in outlook express we use to press ctrl d to jump from one
message to another but the same key is not applicable in MS outlook
ctrld just deletes the message and take you back in the same folder.

Awaiting help.
Regards
Archana

Re: [AI] kind attention legal experts: disability certificket to dixlexic?

2012-03-03 Thread Arvind Bhartiya
Dear Prateek,
There are designated bodies who evaluate the problem and issue
certificates in that regard.
In Mumbai there is the Maharashtra Dislexic Association (MDA) which
does the necessary testing and issues the report/certificate. This is
accepted by all schools here. This includes the state board, I C SE
 , as well as CBSE.
Some government hospitals also do the same. The sion and Nair
hospitals are authorised for this in Mumbai.
A certificate from either of them is a must to avail of any concessions.

Hi Nareshji, After pasting the file to be uploaded in the public folder
open the context menu by right clicking or pressing the application key,
arrow down to dropbox submenu and open the same using right arrow, press C
and the public link is copied to the clipboard. You can paste this link in
the e mail. Ensure that you are connected to the internet when you are
performing this task. If the file to be uploaded is to large, wait for
some time till the file is fully uploaded before sending the link. You can
check the status of the uploading process by selecting the system tray by
hiting insert+f10. Hope this will solve the problem.

Hi friends,
When I tried to paste the url of a file which has been copied in the
public folder, I got the below mentioned url only.
/home/ubuntu/Dropbox/Public/ba sociology2008.rar
What could be wrong? I checked in the dropbox website and the file
has been successfully uploaded.

dear friends, please beware of such immoral activities. many colleges
and universities are indulged in creating false documents upon the
activities which
they have not done for the purpose of showing their profile at a
higher level and to get the points in the NAAC accreditation without
really contributing
any thing to enhance the quality of education. only before the NAAC
visit, they create all the facilities artificially. but nothing after
that. the fact
that they are taking this initiative only one week before the visit
clearly shows that their actual intention is to get points from the
NAAC and not to
serve the blind. it seems that they have shown the blind friendly
library in their report which they have to submit before the visit
without physically
making it, and they are in the process of cooking the documents and
other evidences to support the report. within one week they cannot
build the blind
friendly atmosphere in the real sense. this is not going to benefit
the community in any way. there are many people leading their lives
just in the pretext
of helping blind. we have to discourage them by all possible ways.

[AI] Harassment of the disabled people by the air lines .

2012-03-03 Thread purnima jain
Hello , In view of the recent harassment cases by the airlines with
the disabled people, I would suggest that it is high time that we
demand Constitutional amendment for protection under Article 15. Such
instances must be declared an offence and must be penalized .We must
strive for a statutory protection somewhat on the same lines as
provided to SC/ST. Such acts are violation of the civil rights and
civic liberty of the disable people and should be considered an
infringement of the right to live with dignity under Article 21 of the
Constitution, If the right to travel abroad can come within the
purview of the right to life than such acts also amount to violation
of the Human Rights of the disabled people. There must be protection
officers with power to take action on complaint and the power to take
action suo moto .Not to say that such legal provisions would cure the
problem but it will certainly create awareness and may also act as
deterrent .This will make such instances an issue of Human Right
violation and sensitize the people.
