Re: [AI] searching for scanner

2014-03-17 Thread Mohib Anwar Rafel
Prefer to purchase from HP. You can have one stand alone scanner with
in that budget. I can suggest one model, that is HP G3110, but the
speed of the scanner is quite slow, however the scanning results are
awsom. You will not be able to scan more then 3 pages per minute on
this scanner. If you want to purchase some highspeed scanner then you
will have to raise your budget.

Re: [AI] how to lockate a posission of the link?

2014-03-17 Thread Mukesh Sharma
There is a trick you can use. You first route your jaws cursor to the link
and then use the command to know the cursor position. I don't remember the
command. While doing this the browser window should be maximised and you
would need to inner the position based on x and y coordinates that jaws
gives.

Alternatively you can ask them to use find command and type the link. Doing
that, the system also highlight the text that matches making it easy to
see.

Hi, nice initiative!
A humble suggestion:
Do not make it exclusive for physically Challenged people, let the
abled people also register as candidates, with keeping the focus on

Re: [AI] Want to buy a musical keyboard

2014-03-17 Thread Alok Kaushik

Hi Sumesh,
I bought Yahama PSR E313 a few years ago. It is a good one. There may have
been some changes in the model over these years. It does not have any
talking features though. I have its user manual in PDF format, which can be
referred to.

I have created my own reference document to identify different keys and
functions. Different panels have different sizes and shapes of keys so
locating a key is not difficult if you know which key you are looking for.
Memory serves as the best tool.

There are some features like listen and learn that display notes on a LCD
screen. These features cannot be used without sighted assistence.

Let me know if you decide to buy Yahama PSR series keyboard and would like
to have its user manual in PDF format.

Thanks.
Alok

Hi,
Thanks a lot for your valuable info.
I'm not learning Karnatic classical, but I love to play simple
malayalam, tamil or hindi film songs which is having a melodious
touch.
Will the yamaha keyboard which I mentioned suitable for this purpose?
With lots of thanks and regards,

learning the keybord, and learning karnatic music on an indian
instrument more suited for the purpose.

I am not having an idea to become a keyboardist by profession, but I
want to learn it as part of my personal enjoyment. I would like to
have a keyboard which is the most durable as I can keep it with me for

I searched a lot and fount one keyboard named Yamaha PSR I455 which is
having some indian instruments in it. But I am not having a clear idea
of the product. So could you please help me in identifying the best
product for me.

Also please throw some light in to the area of it's accessibility.

2014-03-17 Thread Shireen Irani
hi,

any keybord from the yamaha psr series will do good for you.
however as i think u realise, it is not possible to play Karnatic
music in its purest form on a western instrument such as a keybord. so
let both of them be separet hobbies.
learning the keybord, and learning karnatic music on an indian
instrument more suited for the purpose.
best,
shireen.

രരDear all,

I am also planning to buy a digital keyboard. I am not a professional
musician. My objective is to learn keyboard right from the basic
lessons. I belong to Kerala in South India and my field of interest is
Karnatic based melodious songs. I want to learn playing such songs in
it. Also I would like to have the Indian instruments like flute,

materialise my objective.

I am not having an idea to become a keyboardist by profession, but I
want to learn it as part of my personal enjoyment. I would like to
have a keyboard which is the most durable as I can keep it with me for
ever and enjoy playing it.
I searched a lot and fount one keyboard named Yamaha PSR I455 which is
having some indian instruments in it. But I am not having a clear idea

Re: [AI] Problem in word documents.

2014-03-17 Thread Amiyo Biswas

Hello,

Ctrl+page up or page down navigates among objects. Since page is the default
object in this case, it goes to the next or the previous page. Once you
perform a find operation, find becomes the object of the said navigation. So
use ctrl+g or f5 once again and select page in the list of objects an use it
for going to a particular page. Then again ctrl+page up or down will take to
to the next or the previous page.

This is the case with word 2003. Give it in your version for a trial.

With best Regards,
Amiyo Biswas

Dear all,
I am facing a problem in word documents. The command used for
navigating between pages is "Ctrl + pPage down / Page up". But after
using "Ctrl+f" to find some text in a word documents, when I try to
use "Ctrl+page down and page up" moves to the previous next search
items as used in "Ctrl+f". How do I resolve this problem?
Your guidance will be highly appreciated.

Now that file is visible in iPhone alsow. but I have not added this file to my

As per my understanding, Unless you add file to favorite you can not view the
file offline.
But after disconnectting the iPhone from vifi I am still able to play that file.
So I have a doubt that where my file is saved on mobile or dropbox space? zoher
